A collection of generative ambient loops, meant for sleeping.

Generative art and music can be a bit like beachcombing. These dozen simple pieces were made using raw stone washed up by Google MusicLM (as of 05/11/23). Further granular etching and smoothing was done from there.

This is a test, and proof of concept only. These are very rough and simple and basic by design. (Priced at $1 so I can buy it from myself to get it into my collection...)

But I do intend to sleep to this.

Updated 07/15/23 - After sleeping to this for a couple of months, I have opted to re-normalize the tracks to -2db each, so that they can be shuffled together more smoothly for sleeping. It would take some deeper rework to smooth these sleepstones further, but for the next volume I plan to pay closer attention to their levels for ambient use. If you're using the app, the new tracks should play on their own; but if you've downloaded you'd need to re-download for the updates.
